Rated specifically to function in high temperature environments extracting unwanted ferrous particles from your vehicles engine. Will operate in temperatures to 150°C or 302°F. A quality motor oil will tolerate oil temperatures up to 250 degrees, breaking down once you reach 275 degrees. The operating temperature for oil is between 194 to 230°F, our magnet will work in temperatures far past that of engine oil. Neodymium magnets are one of the strongest magnets available on the planet, and we use one of the strongest grade versions available. Our magnet has the strength to hold weights over 2.2lbs!
